The hot weather of August has taken it’s toll on the leech supply up here in the North country, but that doesn’t mean you can’t catch fish. Quite the contrary, some of the best walleye fishing has been had by anglers dragging or casting crank baits during the day, and dangling some minnows under a bobber at night. You really should give it a try, it’s awesome! When that bobber goes down after dark, it’s a whole new world to experience.
